Rehabilitation Care Assistant – Barnet Parkinson’s Service

Key Responsibilities

• Implementing prescribed treatment programs with an allocated patient caseload following competency-based assessments.
• Working with the Multi-disciplinary team (MDT) to plan and facilitate patient progression through the treatment program.
• Driving to assist therapists with home visits and access patients’ properties.
• Assisting therapists with paperwork, referrals, and other relevant forms.

Skills and Expertise

• Excellent communication skills
• Experience with patient care (Desirable)
• Motivated and enthusiastic approach
• Ability to work within an MDT environment
• Relevant experience within Parkinson’s care (desirable)
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Flexible and adaptable to diverse patient needs
• Computer literacy for completing paperwork and administrative tasks
