Key Responsibilities
- Providing high standards of nursing, clinical, and personal support to customers as outlined in Person Centred Plans.
- Ordering and administering medication, ensuring safe storage and recording all information according to internal procedures and NMC guidelines.
- Effectively leading a team of support staff, managing shift efficiently.
- Prioritizing and planning, delegating tasks to the support team to meet customer needs safely and caringly.
- Supporting ongoing assessments, observing changes in health and well-being.
- Ensuring records are maintained promptly.
- Supporting customers with physical care, personal hygiene, and daily tasks.
Skills and Expertise
- Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Thorough knowledge of nursing theory and best practice at a qualified nurse (level 5) level.
- Understanding of the NMC code of conduct, relevant practice standards, and guidance.
- Effective nursing practice in all basic registered nurse procedures.
- Flexibility to work rostered hours and on-call rota as required.
Job Facilities/Benefits
- Night enhancement of 1.50 per hour from 8 pm to 7 am, Monday-Sunday (excluding sleep-ins).
