Key Responsibilities
- Medication administration and care planning
- Providing physical, emotional, and spiritual support to residents
- Ensuring safeguarding principles are maintained
- Taking responsibility of shifts as Nurse in charge
- Team management and shift planning
- Infection prevention and control
- Liaising with General Practitioners and Multi-Disciplinary Teams
- Upholding clinical governance standards
Skills and Expertise
- Compassionate and dedicated approach to enhancing resident quality of life
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Proactive learning and development of clinical skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks (e.g., assisting residents with mobility)
- Proven experience in a Registered Nursing role (preferred, but not essential)
- A valid UK NMC PIN and registration as Registered General Nurse (RGN), Learning & Disability Nurse (RNLD), or Mental Health Nurse (RMN)
- Nursing qualification recognised by the UK NMC
