As a Receptionist, based at the Wellbeing Centre, Lampeter, you’ll be responsible for all aspects of the reception role including dealing with customers, providing information, handling money and ensuring a first class front of house service.
As a council we are embarking on an exciting journey which will see a number of/ our Leisure Centres become Wellbeing Centres, with the Wellbeing Centre, Lampeter being the first to open its doors. These roles provide an excellent opportunity to be part of that journey as we contribute to the promotion of positive health and wellbeing of our citizens.
As Receptionist you will be required to assist the manager in the provision of an efficient and effective service and on a day to day basis will:
– handle customers and respond to enquiries, complaints and questions
– receive bookings and process facility hire enquires
– handle money and process transactions using the LA’s systems
– provide administrative support to other staff members
– responsible in ensuring all user information on the system is correct and up-to-date
– lead on the marketing programme for the department
We are committed to providing a bilingual service to our customers so we require individuals with a degree of fluency in the Welsh language. Due to our opening hours you will be required to work evenings and weekends as part of a shift pattern.
