QA Raw Material Technologist

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain awareness of Mller standard testing requirements for site compliance.
  • Accurately record results of raw materials testing.
  • Review incoming material delivery schedule and develop weekly inspection plan to meet site testing schedule for incoming goods.
  • Support raw materials specialist and planners to ensure testing priorities are considered in the weekly inspection plan.
  • Follow appropriate SOPs for raw materials tested to ensure accurate quality assessment for received batches.
  • Organize testing cover for planned absences.
  • Promote hygiene and safety to improve standards and eliminate potential issues/hazards.
  • Drive line performance through coaching of line operators and support managers to improve OEE.

Skills and Expertise

  • Packaging-related apprenticeship or similar.
  • Level 3 qualification in QA or Raw Material related topics (or working towards).
  • HACCP Level 2.
  • Food Safety Level 2.
  • Laboratory experience.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure in a busy environment.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • SAP module experience (desirable).
  • Technical report writing experience (desirable).
