Public Health Practitioner Advice Line

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Healthy Family Team in delivering universal health services to the 0-19 year population.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing information via the telephone system, utilizing SystmOne for recording.
  • Support a skill mix team.
  • Manage daily information flow via telephone, including CHAT Health, PARENTLINE, and RECAP within the Advice Line Team.
  • Ensure smooth transition of information from families and others to District Healthy Family Teams.
  • Provide managerial supervision for Band 4 practitioners in the Advice Line Team.
  • Proactively promote health and contribute to tackling health inequalities within the required level of competencies.
  • Work flexibly to meet the service needs.
  • Support the Healthy Family Team to deliver the public health agenda for 0-19 children and families.
