Project Assistant Inverurie

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintaining document control of project documents.
  • Assisting the Project Management team with project administration and support across multiple projects.
  • Ensuring project compliance with Kirby way.
  • Handling project procurement for small items, consumables, and plant.
  • Keeping key project files (electronic and hard copy) updated, including risk registers, programmes, drawings, and technical information.
  • Scheduling and facilitating internal and external project meetings, taking accurate notes.
  • Collecting and following up on project information, reminding team members of deadlines, and assisting with timely project delivery.
  • Serving as a central point of contact for project progress communication.

Skills and Expertise

  • Strong administration skills
  • Proactive approach to project and procurement work
  • Confident phone manner
  • Excellent IT skills (Excel, budget spreadsheets, cashflows)
  • Ability to multitask and manage priorities
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Previous experience in the construction industry (preferred)
  • Commercially aware
