Programme Support Officer

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the delivery of the Strategy Delivery Programme and all associated projects.
  • Support project governance and colleagues to deliver projects effectively and according to project plans.
  • Produce and maintain project documentation and reporting.
  • Coordinate, facilitate, and contribute to individual project teams and the wider programme board.
  • Communicate project and programme updates to various audiences.
  • Expand skill set and potentially take on leadership roles within projects as they progress.

  • Proven track record of supporting and driving change.
  • Awareness of the latest project management developments and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to motivate colleagues and the wider business towards shared goals.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills for various audiences.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Job Facilities/Benefits

  • Salary in line with NJC: PO (27 – 30) 35,745 – 38,223
  • 28 days annual leave, increasing to 33 days after 5 years’ service, plus bank holidays
