Key Responsibilities
- Supports the vision and values of the school
- Undertake some cleaning tasks
- Ensure the cleanliness, maintenance and tidiness of the building and outdoor area
- Open the building, ensure the safety of the area for staff and pupils
- Undertake some general gardening duties on a regular basis
- Operate machinery, including tools
- Undertake duties to ensure the building is secure
- Be willing to cover the Site Supervisor role
- Be flexible in approach to work
- Experience of general maintenance and DIY
- Be a team player with the ability to work individually using their own initiative
- Be able to follow instructions and direction
Skills and Expertise
- Good communication skills
- Commitment to working within Health & Safety legislation
- Willing to undertake any training required
- Experience of general maintenance and DIY
- Ability to work with others and independently
- Ability to operate machinery
- Ability to follow instructions
- Ability to undertake physical tasks, manual handling, work at heights, and lone working
