Planning & Logistics Officer – Gloucester
Key Responsibilities
- Delivery of the PECS Plan, ensuring the schedule for custody movement is met.
- Close collaboration with crews and establishments (prisons, courts, etc.) to ensure timely and secure custody transportation.
- Combining data sources (court/prison locations, crew routes, trackers, crew resources) to produce robust schedules for custody return.
- Adapting to unpredictable changes and handling incidents/challenges throughout the day.
Skills and Expertise
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Resilient
- Exceptional communication skills
- Computer literate with ability to assimilate large volumes of data/information
- Experience in large-scale logistics/scheduling (preferred, but not essential)
