Part Time School Cleaner
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, classrooms, offices, and common areas.
- Empty rubbish receptacles and dispose of waste properly.
- Replenish supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and paper towels.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment and materials are used safely and stored properly.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the school administration.
Skills and Expertise
- Previous cleaning experience preferred, but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Flexible, tolerant of the idiosyncrasies of the school and supportive of the good running of the school.
- Be able to take direction and follow specific requests.
- Uphold the schools policies, especially with regard to Health and Safety requirements.
Job Facilities/Benefits
- Pay: From 11.44 – 13.00 p/h
- Hours: 15-30 hours per week, Monday Friday, Term Time Only
- Various shifts available to accommodate your schedule, ranging from 6 to 15 hours per week
