Part Time Deputy Care Manager London
Key Responsibilities:
- Deputise for the registered manager to manage the day-to-day running of the business.
- Allocate resources and monitor performance to deliver high-quality home care to customers within budget.
- Responsible for the safe delivery of the service in line with legislative requirements and company policy and procedures.
- Develop and maintain a high-quality service level.
- Develop effective working relationships with the care team (e.g., local authorities, 3rd parties, and CQC).
- Report and action service improvements when identified.
- Ensure the service delivery is person-centred and evidenced in support plans, rotas, staff and service meetings, induction, training, and service culture.
- Care plans, risk assessments, supervisions, and appraisals completed in an effective and timely manner.
- Ensure necessary records are complete, accurate, legible, and available to authorised persons when required.
- Maintain quality standards and ensure health and safety compliance.
- Ensure a clear understanding of MCA and DoLS.
Skills and Expertise:
- Level 3/4/5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Health and Social Care (or in training).
- 2+ years of experience in a home care management role (excluding Supported and Domiciliary).
- Strong understanding of local and national regulations governing home care agencies.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, marketing, and leadership skills.
- Ability to develop and implement policies and procedures.
