Palliative Care Dietitian – London

Are you looking to advance your skills in gastroenterology and palliative care Dietetics? This part time role is split into 2 days in Meadow House hospice and I day in Ealing Hospital providing a weekly outpatient service for gastroenterology. The role is suited to someone with strong nutritional support skills who is passionate about dietetics. The small Ealing dietetic team is a friendly, supportive team who are part of a larger London Northwest University Trust dietetic team across Northwick Park and Central Middlesex Hospitals.

This post will allow you to:

· Gain extensive experience and knowledge in gastroenterology in an outpatient setting.

· Manage weekly outpatient gastroenterology clinic.

· Provide dietetic advice to the 14 bedded hospice.

· Work as a key part of the palliative MDT joining ward rounds and educational sessions.

· Train dietitians and other health care professionals in this specialist area.

· Lead and contribute to audit and service development to support evidence-based practice.

· Develop supervisory skills through student training and supporting colleagues with the care of gastroenterology and palliative patients.
