Key Responsibilities

  • Organising interviews, obtaining documents, and conducting DBS checks for new care workers.
  • Reference chasing.
  • Booking training courses for new care workers.
  • Logging care worker details and creating files.
  • Data entry and filing.
  • Supporting the manager.
  • Answering and making phone calls.
  • Daily monitoring of electronic systems (including care staff compliance).
  • Dealing with staff queries.
  • Using online IT systems.
  • Auditing staff member files for compliance.
  • Assisting with setting up work meetings for care staff.
  • Weekly telephone monitoring of probationary staff and reporting.
  • Arranging end-of-probation meetings.
  • Attending meetings and job fairs as needed.
  • Carrying out other duties as required.

Skills and Expertise

  • Excellent communication skills and relationship building abilities.
  • High volume phone answering and calling skills in a polite and professional manner.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced team.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate with colleagues and diverse business areas.
  • Quick learner, proactive, and assertive.
  • Experience with office administration, data entry, and DBS checks desirable.
  • IT skills essential. Familiarity with a range of online systems preferred.
