Office Administrator – Oxford
Key Responsibilities
- Organising interviews, obtaining documents, and conducting DBS checks for new care workers.
- Reference chasing.
- Booking training courses for new care workers.
- Logging care worker details and creating files.
- Data entry and filing.
- Supporting the manager.
- Answering and making phone calls.
- Daily monitoring of electronic systems (including care staff compliance).
- Dealing with staff queries.
- Using online IT systems.
- Auditing staff member files for compliance.
- Assisting with setting up work meetings for care staff.
- Weekly telephone monitoring of probationary staff and reporting.
- Arranging end-of-probation meetings.
- Attending meetings and job fairs as needed.
- Carrying out other duties as required.
Skills and Expertise
- Excellent communication skills and relationship building abilities.
- High volume phone answering and calling skills in a polite and professional manner.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced team.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Team player with the ability to collaborate with colleagues and diverse business areas.
- Quick learner, proactive, and assertive.
- Experience with office administration, data entry, and DBS checks desirable.
- IT skills essential. Familiarity with a range of online systems preferred.
