Nursery Housekeeper – Milton Keynes

Key Responsibilities

  • Flexible and willing to undertake tasks as needed for the nursery.
  • Inform the Nursery Manager of any problems or concerns affecting responsibilities or quality of care.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the nursery.
  • Adhere to Acorn nursery policies and procedures (health & safety, equal opportunities, child protection, COSHH, OFSTED).
  • Ensure bathroom areas are clean and hygienic, with stocked dispensers.
  • Ensure surfaces are clear and tidy.
  • Maintain adequate supplies of tabards, bibs, flannels, bedding, and paper towels.
  • Ensure all laundry is up to date.
  • Clean eating areas, tables, and chairs after use.
  • Be a reliable and flexible team member.
  • Maintain a professional approach to cleaning.
  • Dust nursery areas as needed.
  • Provide ratio cover in the nursery when required.
  • Undertake relevant training needs.
