Midday Supervisory Assistant

Key Responsibilities

• Setting up the dining area
• Plating up pupils lunches
• Assisting pupils with eating and helping them back to the classroom
• Cleaning the dining area
• Supporting a small group of children to access lunchtime activities
• Supervision of children during lunchtime outdoor play
• Adhering to pupils lunchtime requirements (having awareness of allergies and special diets etc.)

Skills and Expertise

• Experience working with primary-aged pupils with learning difficulties and disabilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle a diverse range of pupil needs
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficient in food handling and hygiene practices
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Safeguarding children and promoting their welfare
