Assistant Curriculum Leader – Modern Foreign Languages (MFL)
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring a personalised educational programme for all students based on robust assessment.
- Leading the development of effective teaching and learning strategies aligned with school and national policy.
- Leading strategic interventions to improve student achievement and attainment, evaluating their impact.
- Monitoring planning, curriculum coverage, and learning outcomes for the MFL curriculum.
- Creating a positive learning environment for students.
- Ensuring positive behaviour for learning in accordance with school policy.
- Establishing and monitoring individual student targets for each year group.
- Reviewing student progress and taking necessary action.
- Ensuring compliance with school’s assessment, recording, and reporting procedures.
Skills and Expertise
- Thorough subject knowledge and understanding of current curriculum developments.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to plan and develop appropriate learning activities.
- Ability to consistently deliver outstanding lessons.
