Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in delivering advanced, specialist nursing care for patients on the Major Trauma Pathway.
  • Provide expert specialist major trauma nursing advice and support to patients, families, and other healthcare professionals throughout the patient pathway within the MTC and SWL&S network.
  • Perform advanced clinical skills, including ordering clinical imaging and independent patient assessment, as necessary.
  • Ensure continuity of high-standard, evidence-based nursing care, assessing physical and mental health, health-related, and nursing needs of patients, families, and carers by identifying and initiating appropriate care steps.
