Maintenance Technician

Key Responsibilities

• General maintenance of the property, including installation, repair, and upkeep of facilities.
• Ensuring efficient completion of maintenance tasks to meet guest expectations.
• Contributing to the engineering and maintenance operations of the property.
• Maintaining the standard of buildings, machinery, plant, furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
• Ensuring the safety and security of the property and people through the implementation of procedures and regulatory follow-up.
• Planning and overseeing repair and installation activities, including fire safety installations.
• Optimising property results, including making rooms available for sale.
• Following sustainability and green policies, and developing new ways to improve sustainability initiatives.
• Ensuring compliance with all statutory local legislation and regulations, particularly H&S, building regulations, and fire safety.
• Effective communication and teamwork.

Skills and Expertise

• Proven experience in a similar role.
• Solid understanding of technical aspects of plumbing, carpentry, and electrical systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
• Passion for customer service.
• Teamwork skills.
• Leadership and team management skills (potential)
