Nursery Practitioner – Baby Room Part Time
Key Responsibilities
- Work with management to maintain high standards of compliance, care, and education for children.
- Manage daily nursery operations, including positive partnerships with staff and parents.
- Collaborate with the Room Leader and other staff for a smooth daily routine.
- Contribute to planning to ensure high-quality learning and development for children.
- Liaise with nursery staff regarding children’s specific needs and requirements.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment.
- Adhere to all Nursery policies and procedures.
- Meet health and safety and environmental health requirements.
- Promote and ensure safeguarding standards for all children and adults.
Skills and Expertise
- Full Level 3 Childcare Qualification
- Over 1 year’s experience in Early Years
- Knowledge of Ofsted expectations for Good or Outstanding rating (desirable)
- Knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements
- Fluent written and spoken English
