An exciting opportunity has emerged for a dedicated and energetic individual seeking to launch a career in the leisure sector as a part-time leisure assistant.

You will join the operations team at Parc Eirias and will be responsible for various tasks, including:

• Lifeguarding the center’s swimming programs,
• Assisting local schools and sports clubs with the setup and takedown of sports equipment across multiple facilities,
• Supporting the operations team during significant sporting events,
• Promoting the physical and mental well-being of youth through sport camps during school holidays.

In addition to essential training in Safeguarding and Health and Safety, you will have the chance to pursue further qualifications, such as:

• ASA Level 2 swimming teaching course
• NVQs in Leisure Operations,
• Leisure Supervisory/Management
• Gym Instruction.

Experience in teamwork and the ability to work independently will be beneficial. The role requires a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, and participation in monthly lifeguard training sessions.

• Cwrs addysgu nofio ASA lefel 2
• NVQs mewn gweithrediadau hamdden
• Goruchwylio / rheoli hamdden
• Hyfforddwr campfa
