Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitating engaging methods for learning and community integration for children and young people with SEND.
  • Developing bespoke strategies to suit individual learning styles.
  • Managing behavioural challenges.
  • Creating a partnership in which the child or young person is fully engaged with their learning journey.

Skills and Expertise

  • Experience working with children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
  • Empathy, understanding and tenacity.
  • Understanding of various neurodiverse conditions and their impact on learning.
  • Ability to develop bespoke strategies for individual learning styles.
  • Capacity to manage behavioural challenges effectively.
