Key Responsibilities
- Assist in loading and unloading metals, materials, and equipment.
- Perform general site maintenance and cleaning tasks to ensure a safe working environment.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and contribute to team efforts.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and report hazards/incidents immediately.
- Assist skilled tradespeople with tasks, providing support where required.
- Maintain an organised workspace, ensuring tools and materials are stored correctly.
Skills and Expertise
- Previous labouring experience advantageous but not essential.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy objects (up to 25 kg).
- Basic knowledge of health and safety practices on construction sites.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities.
- Valid driver’s licence preferred but not mandatory.
