Kitchen Assistant
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting in providing varied and healthy meals for service users, including special diets, special events, and religious events.
- Ensuring the security and food safety of all foodstuffs during delivery, storage, and distribution within the kitchen area.
- Recording and documenting all relevant paperwork to comply with food hygiene regulations, Health & Safety, HACCP, and Company Policies.
- Reacting to complaint issues and trends, with a cohesive approach along with the catering team.
Skills and Expertise
- Level 2 qualification in Food Safety
- HACCP (ideal)
- Level 2 qualification in Allergens in Catering (ideal)
- Experience and basic working knowledge of a commercial kitchen in a socially diverse environment
