Kitchen Assistant
Key Responsibilities
- Experienced in food preparation and catering, adhering to Health and Safety and Food Standard regulations.
- Monitor and maintain kitchen cleaning schedules, ensuring immaculate cleanliness of all kitchen areas.
- Wash crockery and utensils as required.
- Assist chefs with plating meals and preparing food trolleys.
- Ensure all preparation areas are kept clean and tidy.
- Act as a link between the main kitchen and residents.
Skills and Expertise
- Ability to manage pressure, prioritize tasks, and communicate effectively at all levels.
- Genuine interest in working in a care home environment.
- Previous experience in a care home (desirable, but not essential).
- Committed and organized approach.
- Confident communication skills (verbal and written).
- Flexible to work shifts.
