Key Responsibilities

  • Profile, performance, and execution of growth strategy for high net worth segments in selected international markets, delivered safely and sustainably.
  • Lead the market in delivering outstanding customer service and high-quality customer outcomes.
  • Develop and deliver strategic and commercial objectives for International, representing the Centre of Excellence for all International coverage activities within the One Bank model.
  • Lead the market across the business, building the proposition, deepening knowledge, and elevating client service for target clients.
  • Provide inspiring leadership, clear communication, and impactful delivery to the team.
  • Bring exceptional private banking and wealth management expertise to high and ultra-high net worth international clients.
  • Develop and lead engagement with senior Coverage stakeholders and within the business to provide an industry-leading end-to-end international proposition.
  • Lead the international market in delivering exceptional client service across private banking, wealth management, and investment management (measured by client experience metrics).
  • Maintain an overview of team and individual performances, analysing trends, and developing solutions and propositions to meet client needs.
  • Develop and implement business plans and a management agenda, agreeing targets across all areas of the balanced business scorecard and taking full responsibility for their achievement.
  • Act as a strategic advisor for senior executives around international markets.
  • Deliver the international market financial plan, including volume, revenue, and costs, ensuring efficient use of capital, headcount, and other resources.
  • Be a senior ambassador to create and maintain brand strength with new and existing relationships to drive acquisition and penetration of new international clients.
  • Manage, coach, and develop direct reports, setting the team’s risk culture through role modeling, and creating a culture where employees are engaged and motivated.

Skills and Expertise

  • Demonstrable international commercial experience in managing and developing client-facing teams.
  • Relationship management and advice for investment-related products and services to globally active clients.
  • Significant experience and market-leading knowledge of Private Banking, investment products, high and ultra-high net worth wealth needs, and the Family Office segment.
  • Understanding of client-facing investment management and bespoke and advisory portfolio management both within the UK and key international markets.
  • Track record of growing an international business from the UK, with a deep understanding of the UK regulatory environment and its execution across international markets.
