We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Housing Repairs Co-ordinators (Sc5) to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of housing repair requests within our organization. You will act as the primary contact for residents and contractors, ensuring that repairs are executed efficiently and to a high standard. Your ability to effectively communicate and track repairs from initiation through to completion will be critical in maintaining the quality of housing services we pride ourselves on. As a Housing Repairs Co-ordinator, you will liaise with various stakeholders, including tenants, service users, maintenance teams, and other departments, to facilitate smooth operations and resolve any issues that may arise. You will also play a significant role in monitoring performance metrics, compiling reports, and continually seeking ways to improve service delivery. By ensuring timely responses and resolutions to repair requests, you will contribute directly to enhancing tenant satisfaction and overall community wellbeing. Responsibilities
Receive and log all housing repair requests in the system accurately and promptly.
Coordinate with maintenance staff and contractors to schedule repairs and ensure timely completion.
Monitor the progress of repairs against set timelines and follow up on any delays or issues that arise.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with tenants regarding the status of their repair requests.
Compile and maintain accurate records and reporting on repair jobs and service performance metrics.
Conduct quality checks on completed repairs to ensure standards meet organizational policies.
Develop and implement procedures to improve the efficiency of the repair coordination process.
Requirements
Proven experience in a similar role within housing or property management.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with various stakeholders.
Proficient in using computer systems and software for record keeping and reporting.
Ability to handle difficult situations and prioritize customer satisfaction.
Knowledge of housing regulations and standards related to repairs and maintenance.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Hours Per Week: 35.00

End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £17.38
