Housekeeping Assistant – Walkeringham, Nottinghamshire

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of bedrooms and public areas.
• Handle laundry duties (wash, dry, iron, put away).
• Keep mandatory training up to date and complete additional training as needed (Infection Control, Manual Handling, Health & Safety).
• Support the team in the smooth running of housekeeping shifts.
• Keep the Housekeeper informed of major developments.
• Contribute ideas to improve the standard of care.

Skills and Expertise

• Experience in a previous housekeeping role.
• Team player.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Willingness to go above and beyond to meet resident needs.
• Good time management skills.
• Flexibility with working hours.
