Housekeeping Assistant

Key Responsibilities

  • Work as part of a team to maintain cleanliness and laundry standards in the home.
  • Adhere to standard operating procedures for housekeeping and laundry, ensuring hotel service standards.
  • Perform all cleaning duties according to worksheet instructions.
  • Understand cleaning requirements for various surfaces, coverings, and cleaning materials, ensuring areas are well-maintained.
  • Treat residents with dignity and respect, respecting their personal space and belongings.

Skills and Expertise

  • Knowledge of Health and Safety, including Moving and Handling, Fire Safety, and COSHH assessments.
  • Experience cleaning laundry in a public setting.
  • Compassion and commitment to delivering high-quality housekeeping/laundry service.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to cover various responsibilities.
