Key Responsibilities

• Working within all subject areas at the school.
• Closely liaising with the SENCO and external support providers.
• Liaising with staff over support levels.
• Overseeing quality assurance of alternative provisions.
• Meeting with and visiting external providers, record keeping.
• Understanding approaches to support student confidence and signposting to specialist support.

Skills and Expertise

• Excellent understanding of SEND and physical difficulties
• Team player
• Willingness to be part of a committed support team
• SEN related training (advantageous)
• Experience working with young people (desirable)

Job Facilities/Benefits

• Part-time post (39 weeks per year, term-time only).
• 35 hours per week.
• Pay scale LPT 6, salary range 25,539 – 27,391 per annum pro rata (FTE 30,270 – 32,465 per annum).
