HGV Mechanic Stoke-on-Trent

Key Responsibilities

• Perform electrical and mechanical repairs on heavy goods vehicles.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with HGVs.
• Conduct regular maintenance and servicing of HGVs.
• Use hand tools and specialized equipment to repair, weld, fabricate, dig, assemble, and maintain HGVs.
• Inspect and test vehicles to ensure they meet safety standards.
• Keep accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed on HGVs.
• Operate a forklift to move and transport parts.

Skills and Expertise

• HGV Mechanic or Technician experience
• Relevant qualifications or apprenticeship
