HGV Class 2 Driver – Andover

Key Responsibilities

• Shunting between local warehouses and ensuring bays are cleared for production.
• Loading and unloading using a pump truck.
• Maintaining accurate records of consignments, PODs, shortages, and damages for the transport management system.
• Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting defects to maintain roadworthiness.
• Complying with company and customer procedures, reporting delays or issues to the Traffic Office.
• Adhering to Highway Code, FORS, EU tachograph, Working Time, and Road Transport Regulations.
• Informing the Traffic Office of accidents or incidents.
• Securing, loading, and unloading vehicles with the highest level of care.
• Maintaining a clean and tidy workplace.
• Working safely and complying with Health and Safety Regulations.

Skills and Expertise

• Class 2 Driving License
• Driver CPC Card (DQC)
• Knowledge of Highway Code, EU tachograph requirements, Working Time Regulations, and Road Transport Regulations
• Experience with multidrop pallet deliveries
• Flexibility
