Consultant Haematopathologist
Key Responsibilities
- Final reporting of specimens (bone marrow, peripheral blood, lymph node biopsies).
- Providing specialist advice on diagnostic problems.
- Participating in haematology multi-disciplinary team meetings.
- Developing and participating in relevant research and development.
- Participating in the delivery of haematology clinical services.
Skills and Expertise
- Experience in haematopathology.
- Expertise in molecular diagnostics (array-based expression profiling, SNP analysis, next generation sequencing).
- Knowledge of immunohistology and informatics.
- Strong diagnostic skills.
- Ability to work within an experienced team.
