Graduate Teaching Assistant – Salford and Trafford
Key Responsibilities
- General support for all year groups
- Working with SEN pupils based on school demands
Skills and Expertise
- English: Developing basic skills, phonics, and literacy skills
- Maths: Developing basic skills and mathematical knowledge through group or one-to-one work
- Psychology: Providing an empathetic and trusting relationship with children, including those with SEN, SLCN, behaviour, and SEMH needs
- Education Studies: Providing a mindful and tailored approach to primary education
Job Facilities/Benefits
- 84+ per day through PAYE (no umbrella company or agency fees)
- Full-time roles, Monday-Friday, approximately 8:30am – 3:30pm; some part-time roles available
- Pay on a timesheet basis through Teaching Personnel
- Opportunity to work with multiple year groups
- February start following registration with Teaching Personnel
- Some opportunities to move onto a long-term school contract after a successful trial period
