Fundraising and Engagement Coordinator

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintaining effective communication with Trust staff and external charity supporters using various platforms.
  • Administering donations and thanking supporters promptly and efficiently.
  • Acting as the first point of contact, dealing with enquiries and providing excellent stakeholder and donor experience.
  • Creating a positive, enthusiastic, and professional supporter care culture.
  • Ensuring supporter records are accurately maintained and up-to-date, including gift aid declarations and communication preferences.
  • Acting as a charity ambassador in the community to engage support and raise awareness.
  • Creating and maintaining supporter records and producing reports to inform new developments and review trends.
  • Managing sensitive data and understanding data consent.
  • Supporting the Head of Charity and Volunteers in securing new and existing supporters.
  • Supporting with internal and external fundraising and awareness events, potentially involving travel.
  • Supporting the Head of Charity and Volunteers in creating engaging communications (social media, email, website, internal platforms).
  • Ensuring safe collection, transportation, and depositing of donations.
  • Managing fundraising materials stock and distribution.
  • Supporting the Head of Charity and Volunteers with creative content production, including case studies for press releases.
