Functional Assessor
Key Responsibilities
- Assess individuals and how disabilities or conditions affect their work life.
- Gather medical history and perform physical examinations.
- Produce concise and accurate reports for the DWP.
- Meet people face-to-face and via telephone/video.
- Uphold best practice standards in assessment.
Skills and Expertise
- NMC Level 1 Registered Adult Nurse with 12+ months post-registration experience.
- Experience working with adults in various clinical settings (Surgical, Medical, A&E, Community, Practice Nursing).
- NMC-registered with Continuous Professional Development.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Negotiation and adaptable to changing environments.
- IT skills and software experience.
- Self-awareness and focus on professional development.
- Integrity, confidentiality, and customer service focus.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Reliable and efficient team player.
- Eligible to work in the UK.
Job Facilities/Benefits
- Competitive salary (37,500 – 43,000 + 2,000 after one year + 10% bonus).
- 9-5 hours, Monday-Friday; Part-time available.
