Key Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire mental health team, setting excellence standards in patient care.
- Evaluate and treat complex mental and physical health conditions in a challenging long-term environment.
- Provide timely and effective interventions for patients in crisis.
- Share expertise with specialist nurses, other healthcare professionals, and prison staff.
- Contribute to the advancement of Health & Justice services through clinical audit and quality improvement initiatives.
- Provide clinical leadership to ensure delivery of high-quality patient care to residents.
- Develop specialist interests aligned with Trust and local service development plans.
- Engage in teaching and training of specialist nurses, other nurses, and prison staff.
- Contribute to maintaining and developing Health and Justice services to the highest standards via clinical audit and Care Quality activities.
