Food Service Assistant – Aldergrove Flying Station
Key Responsibilities
- Managing bar operations throughout the shift.
- Mixing and serving drinks, maintaining bar cleanliness and stock.
- Working in other front-of-house areas, including kitchen support and front-of-house stewarding as needed.
- Providing excellent customer service at all times.
- Reporting to the General Manager on site.
- Stewarding front of house (waitressing, cleaning, assisting with duties).
- Mixing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, adhering to Challenge 25.
- Managing bar service independently.
- Cleaning the bar area, ensuring cleanliness and tidiness, including stocking and stock rotation.
- Operating tills, processing card and cash payments, maintaining financial records, and providing excellent customer service.
- Cashing up at the end of the shift.
Skills and Expertise
- Previous bar experience (desirable, but not essential, full training provided).
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage bar operations.
- Knowledge of stock rotation and maintenance.
- Experience with till operations and handling cash/cards.
Job Facilities/Benefits
- Full-time, permanent position (37 hours per week, 5 days over 7, including some weekends).
- Shifts: 6.30am – midnight.
- Hourly rate: 11.44.
