Fitness Manager – Maidstone
Key Responsibilities
- Leading the fitness team and ensuring up-to-date industry knowledge.
- Delivering an exceptional gym floor experience for members.
- Managing a group exercise budget.
- Managing the day-to-day running of the facility, including shift management.
- Leading the Health & Fitness element of the club.
- Managing gym instructors and the gym floor, ensuring a smooth group exercise timetable.
- Providing great customer care.
Skills and Expertise
- Experience as a Fitness Manager, Duty Manager, or similar management role in the leisure industry.
- Proven customer service experience.
- Knowledge of cash management procedures.
- Strong team management, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with facilities maintenance.
- Availability to work shifts, including weekends.
- Swimming ability and a National Pool Lifeguarding Qualification (essential).
- Level 2 Gym Instructor (essential).
- Level 3 Personal Trainer (desirable).
