Financial Controller – Leeds
Key Responsibilities
- Managing financial reporting for a key area of the business.
- Working closely with senior leadership to ensure financial robustness and regulatory compliance.
- Producing monthly financial reports.
- Overseeing the preparation of accurate monthly and annual financial statements.
- Providing financial insight and analysis to senior management.
- Supervising and developing the finance team, ensuring continuous professional development.
- Identifying opportunities for system improvements.
- Ensuring all financial activities align with company standards.
- Overseeing and managing a Finance team
- Completing routine processes such as raising Journals in line with business schedules
- Full Production of Month End Board Park
- Production of KPI’s and analysis
- Ensuring our customers’ requirements & expectations are met in a courteous and professional manner.
- Identifying areas of improvement within current systems.
- Ensuring company standards and procedures are followed.
- Achieving quality standards and fully reconciled customer accounts.
Skills and Expertise
- Part or fully Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
- Strong understanding of financial accounting principles
- Experience with financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
