Finance Business Partner

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivering regular and ad hoc reporting on all elements of factory performance.
  • Ensuring clarity of the expected/actual impact of new operational initiatives, supporting investment justification and measuring returns.
  • Acting as the financial guardian for costings, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and sufficient comparables for approval.
  • Working with the operations team and senior finance business partner to calculate, justify, and update standards to reflect expected performance.
  • Delivering robust short-term and long-term forecasts of factory efficiencies with clear assumptions, signed off by the operational team.
  • Contributing to the development and delivery of functional objectives.
  • Stepping up to cover the senior finance business partner and supporting analyst duties as required.
  • Becoming the finance champion for the site management control and reporting system (Redzone).

Skills and Expertise

  • Previous experience in a similar role within a fast-paced food manufacturing or FMCG environment.
  • Experience with factory performance, labour efficiencies, material variance, standard costings.
  • Experience working with large data sets, P&L, and interpreting data into insights.
  • Qualified or working towards relevant qualifications such as CIMA, ACCA or equivalent.
  • Ability to manage large volumes of data into usable formats.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, customer service, and Excel skills.
