Key Responsibilities

  • Perform a range of maintenance duties
  • Carry out compliance checks e.g., fire door checks
  • Perform a range of porterage duties to support college events
  • Follow health and safety guidelines while using equipment and chemicals
  • Carry out grounds maintenance duties
  • Provide opening and locking up of campus buildings
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude when interacting with students, staff, and visitors

Skills and Expertise

  • Hold or work towards a trade qualification or property maintenance qualification
  • Basic Health and Safety training (e.g., IOSH Working Safely, or equivalent)
  • COSHH and Manual handling training
  • Driving licence and access to a vehicle
