Key Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and assess English lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
• Ensure a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that fosters a love for languages.
• Work closely with the department and other staff members to support student development and achievement.
• Contribute to the school’s extracurricular activities and language events where applicable.
• Maintain accurate student records and provide feedback to both students and parents.

Skills and Expertise

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching English at secondary school level.
• Degree in English or related subject (desirable).
• Strong communication skills and the ability to inspire students.
• Passion for languages and ability to share enthusiasm with students.
• Excellent organisational skills and collaborative team player.
