Duty Manager – Maidstone
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional results for the store to meet/exceed targets using commercial information and appropriate action.
- Ensure Retail Assistants are recruited in line with company policy and legislation.
- Support induction and ongoing development of the sales floor team, increasing performance through leadership and coaching.
- Ensure Retail Assistants provide the highest levels of customer service.
- Ensure product is merchandised according to brand guidelines and promotional activity to maximize sales and operating standards.
- Manage and control high standards of health & safety and security within sales/trading areas.
- Ensure visual merchandising and ticketing standards comply with company guidelines.
- Undertake duty management responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager.
Skills and Expertise
- Work experience as a duty manager, preferably in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Effective leadership and motivation skills.
- Customer service experience and customer focus.
- Commercial awareness.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Ability to plan, prioritize workloads, and delegate.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Competent IT skills.
