Key Responsibilities
- Managing a team of drivers and ensuring efficient and safe route completion
- Coordinating driver schedules and assigning tasks
- Overseeing vehicle maintenance and ensuring roadworthiness
- Handling driver-related issues and concerns effectively
- Liaising with clients to meet delivery schedules and maintain customer satisfaction
- Implementing and monitoring health and safety procedures
- Reporting key measures to Head of Operations (weekly data metrics), escalating risks, and resolving issues promptly
Skills and Expertise
- Supervisory or managerial experience in the driving industry
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Knowledge of driving industry legislation and regulations
- Full UK driving license with a clean driving record
