Are you a highly organized and proactive individual with a passion for ensuring smooth operations? We are seeking a Dispatch Allocator to join our team in the aviation catering sector. In this role, you will play a vital part in coordinating the timely and efficient dispatch of trolleys and ensuring all operational targets are met.

Key Responsibilities: Coordination & Communication: Receive incoming calls, coordinate with kitchen staff and operational teams to ensure outbound trolleys are dispatched on schedule. Administrative Duties: Perform regular administrative tasks using iPads, tablets, and computers to monitor flight times and ensure timely communication. Scheduling: Monitor arriving flight times and arrange for drivers to meet aircrafts for unloading/loading, ensuring all schedules are adhered to. Information Sharing: Provide accurate and timely updates to Transport Team Leaders and other Unit Coordinators to ensure smooth operations. Production Management: Ensure production and off-dock schedules are met, and address any irregularities or changes with the meal planners. Team Management & Improvement: Plan and manage the team’s output, ensuring all business, section, and customer targets are met. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency. Problem Solving: Escalate concerns to the Duty Manager to prevent flight delays and ensure customer satisfaction. Operational Support: Obtain an airside pass and cover all operational roles, except for driving duties, while adhering to all safety and compliance standards. Daily Briefings & Data Presentation: Attend operational meetings and briefings, presenting accurate information and data as required. Knowledge and Skills Required: Experience: Minimum of 1 year in catering (desirable). Pressure Management: Ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure. Communication Skills: Excellent communication, teamwork, and customer service skills. Literacy Skills: Good written and verbal communication skills. Operational Awareness: Knowledge of HACCP, COSHH, DDA, Food Hygiene, Health & Safety, and DFT requirements (specific to the role). Why Join Us? Competitive salary and benefits package. Benefits & Requirements:
– Hourly rate as above, or the appropriate National Minimum Wage (age dependent)
– 28 days Paid Annual Leave pro-rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday)
