Digital System Transition Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Advising and supporting the Head of Risk Management on Action Plan module development for Risk register module in Datix.
- Supporting/advising on business as usual system administration for the Risk module.
- Developing Datix reporting for Group-level risk reporting (2025/26) with University Hospital Bristol & Weston.
- Developing interfaces to the Trusts Data Warehouse and facilitating Power BI reporting.
- Supporting Patient Safety incident reporting within Datix, working with the Head of Patient Safety.
- Ensuring robust system maintenance pre and post transition to the Radar System.
- Developing a robust system archiving approach for Datix incidents.
- Working closely with the Patient Safety Team during the transition to Radar and sustaining data quality.
- Acting as Trust contact with Datix, ensuring service provision and addressing maintenance requirements.
- Supporting and maintaining database and application servers.
- Supporting Radar System implementation for Incident Management, providing expertise and support.
- Performing other duties as required.
Skills and Expertise
- Strong expertise in Datix systems within the NHS acute sector.
- Ability to support business as usual functioning.
- Adaptation of existing modules (e.g., risk, incidents, action plans).
- Support for system migration to Radar for incidents in 2025.
- Power BI expertise (advantageous).
- Experience with digital systems and/or NHS quality governance systems.
- Flexible and innovative mindset.
- Strong technical knowledge of Datix (essential).
- Ideally, strong technical knowledge of Power BI.
