Deputy Manager – Residential Care Home
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring smooth and efficient running of the care home.
- Working collaboratively with the Home Manager and team to provide excellent care.
- Managing and maintaining budgetary and financial controls.
- Managing Human Resources and acting in the best interests of all involved.
- Developing and implementing engaging marketing initiatives.
- Guiding and coaching colleagues on training and development.
- Providing care and support in all areas of the home, from personal items to complex emergencies.
- Maintaining high standards of care and leading by example.
Skills and Expertise
- Minimum Level 4 NVQ in Health and Social Care
- Experience in the healthcare sector
- Management and Leadership experience (essential)
- Leadership qualification (desirable)
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to provide a personal approach to care
- Flexibility and adaptability
- Strong work ethic and resilience
