Deputy Care Home Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Support General Manager in operating a compliant and effective person-centred care home.
- Ensure a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for residents and visitors.
- Meet stringent professional and statutory standards and commercial performance targets.
- Provide inspirational leadership and management to the staff team.
- Ensure adherence to medication policies and procedures, supporting with review of medication and administration.
- Monitor resident wellbeing, noting any changes impacting care and care plans.
- Complete monthly audits, quality indicator reports, and other required reports.
- Attend weekly clinical meetings and monitor clinical risk areas.
Skills and Expertise
- Minimum two years experience in a similar care environment management role.
- Excellent leadership and management skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Competence in using IT systems.
- Adaptable and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.
