Dementia Care Ambassador – Milton Keynes
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the further development of Dementia Care services.
- Working directly with residents to meet physical and emotional needs.
- Building relationships and enhancing residents experience.
- Role modelling best practice and providing guidance.
- Supporting home teams to deliver exceptional care.
- Reporting to the Home Manager and working with the Dementia Development Lead.
Skills and Expertise
- Experience supporting people living with dementia.
- Understanding of dementia’s impact on abilities and needs.
- Knowledge of strategies for supporting individuals with dementia.
- Strong communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
- Confident in supporting teams and delivering training.
- (Preferred) Level 3 vocational qualification in Health and Social Care.
